Cooler days don’t mean the heat is gone just yet!

As temperatures start to ease up a little, remember that our pets can still get overheated quickly. Keep plenty of fresh, cool water available, make sure outdoor pets have access to shade, and avoid long walks or playtime during the hottest part of the day.

And don’t forget the pavement! If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws. A little extra attention goes a long way toward keeping our four-legged friends safe, cool, and hydrated.

🐾 North Texas Giving Day is almost here!

Our friends at Miles of Hope Animal Rescue have a big goal this year: outfitting the inside of their new transport van so animals can travel safely to adoption events, rescues and ultimately, their forever homes.

Giving opens August 27, and every donation helps! 🇺🇸

Giving opens August 27, and this year Miles of Hope has a big goal: outfitting the inside of our newly wrapped van for safe animal transport.

From climate control and proper flooring to secure crates, ventilation and safety features, every donation will help us get this van ready to transport dogs and cats to adoption events, rescues and ultimately, closer to forever homes.
