☀️ Summer is here for most of us, and we know calendars are already filling up with vacations, camps, sports, and family plans! We wanted to go ahead and share our Calvary Youth Summer Wednesday Night Schedule so you can add these dates to your busy summer plans. 💙

We are so excited for a summer full of fun, faith, friendships, and growing together. Whether you can make one night or every night, we would love to see you there!

Hey everyone!! 🎉 Tonight is our Calvary Baptist Youth Lock-In and we can’t wait to see y’all! Doors will open at 7:30 PM for permission slip completion/check-in, and the fun officially starts at 8:00 PM!
Get ready for games, team challenges, music, snacks, prizes, and an all-night good time! 🙌 Bring your friends (completed grades 5th through 12th) and come ready to compete and have fun together.
Don’t forget: breakfast for dinner will be served at midnight, so eat beforehand😄 See y’all tonight!

🧺Church Picnic is Sunday, April 26th at Rancho de la Roca in Aubrey- bring your own picnic lunch and come for the fun! Fishing tournament, pickleball, basketball, co****le tournament, and more!! If you’d like to go early with Hunter to help set up, let him know asap.

🏕️💰CAMP DEPOSIT DUE next Wednesday, April 29th- $50* secures your spot!! We will send you the link to register once you confirm you have paid the deposit. The earlier, the better!

🏆 GOING PRO – Lesson 1: Know the Score
This week our youth took a hard look at what it really means to “go pro” in our faith.
In Luke 7:36–50, we see two very different hearts in the same room. One full of pride. One overwhelmed with gratitude.
The sinful woman who anointed Jesus’ feet understood something powerful:
She knew how much she had been forgiven.
And because she knew the score… she was grateful.
Sometimes, the longer we’ve been in church, the easier it is to forget what Jesus has done for us. We can slip into pride. We can become judgmental. We can start acting like we earned something that was actually a gift.
But pro Christians?
They remember.
They repent.
They stay humble.
They live thankful.
Jesus didn’t die so we could sit on a pedestal.
He died so we could walk in forgiveness — and help others find it too.
💬 Ask yourself this week:
What has God done for me that I’ve forgotten to thank Him for?
Let’s be a generation that knows the score — and lives with grateful hearts.
