We saved precious pup Jack from the euthanasia list at Dallas Animal Services on July 4.
He is still waiting for his forever family and remains in boarding.

Our small rescueโ€™s funds have run out, and Iโ€™m paying his boarding bills out of my own pocket every month. I need your help to continue caring for Jack and keep saving more dogs.

Every day, Jack wakes up in boarding. He is safe. He is fed. He is cared for and loved.

But boarding is not a home.

โค๏ธ WE SAVED JACKโ€™S LIFE. NOW WE NEED SOMEONE TO HELP US GIVE HIM A LIFE. โค๏ธ

I went to visit Jack at boarding today.

We went outside, played, had treats, cuddled under the treeโ€ฆ and for that little while, he was SO happy. His tail was going, his face lit up, and all he wanted was to be close to me. ๐Ÿพโค๏ธ

Jack was rescued by Mission Darling Dogs Rescue on Independence Day, when his life was at risk. We promised him that his story wasnโ€™t going to end there.

But weeks later, our sweet boy is still waiting.

He is being very well cared for at boarding, and I am incredibly grateful for that ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
But boarding is not a home. There is no family to come home to, no couch to curl up on, no person to follow from room to room.

And today, leaving him absolutely broke my heart.

After spending time playing and loving on him, I had to put him back and walk away.

He came to the door and watched me leave.

I couldnโ€™t stop thinking that he was asking me:

โ€œWhy are you leaving me here? I thought I was going home with you.โ€ ๐Ÿ’”

Jack doesnโ€™t understand why people keep coming and going.

He doesnโ€™t understand why, after being saved, he is still waiting for someone to choose him.

We desperately need a FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME for Jack.

Even if you arenโ€™t ready to adopt, fostering Jack would give him something incredibly preciousโ€”a HOME while we continue searching for his forever family and will help a small rescue like me to go on to next one ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
