Room Parents are getting a little refresh this year!

Instead of having individual Room Parents for every classroom, we're trying something new! This year, we'll have Grade Level Room Parent Teams!

Each grade level will have a team of parents working together to help support teachers, coordinate class celebrations and special events, communicate with families, and make sure no one person has to do it all!

We're hoping this team approach will make volunteering more fun, flexible, and collaborative -- because teamwork makes the dreamwork!

Tomorrow is the first dress up day — easy, no-buy ideas could be:

- Board shorts
- Flower or tropical colored shorts or skirts
- Flip flops or sandals
- Flower headbands or hair pins
- Shell jewelry or accessories
- Paint fingernails a fun tropical color
- “Beach” hairstyle (waves by braiding damp hair overnight, for example)
- Buy a cool tattoo from us tomorrow morning before school!

Don’t forget to wear a shirt that has the same house color as your student’s assigned house!

Our first PTA meeting is next Monday AND our first fundraiser! Grab breakfast, lunch, dinner or even a side of fries at the Chick-fil-A by H-E-B on Frontier — the fundraiser lasts all day! Then stop by for our first general meeting at 5:30pm.
