The three essential identifiable purposes for Our Children Matter is
Empower: Making youth stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life in a positive way and claiming their rights and responsibilities as they grow and mature. Believe : Teaching youth to have trust, faith and confidence in something they strive to do later in life and help today’s society in reaching those youth whom seem to have lost their way and purpose in life. And believing in themselves giving themselves confidence so that we as the community can see power and growth. Love : Providing love to youth and reaching out and letting them know they have someone they can rely and count on, providing unconditional love making them feel good about themselves. Making them feel comfortable in the environment around them as well. Teaching students to love themselves first and enough to where they share the same love they have for others in the communities. Sense of Purpose ( motivation that drives youth toward a satisfying future.)

3. Educational Skills and Development Helping youth by providing the ability to execute plans of success

6. Goal Setting Teaching youth how to attain, set and execute goals for themselves and teaching on knowing the difference between higher goals, lower goals, and learning how to reach them and achieve them.
