Today, we proudly celebrate Juneteenth—a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of justice.

On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, finally learned they were free. Juneteenth stands as both a celebration of liberation and a call to continue the work of advancing equity, opportunity, and civil rights for all.

As we honor the sacrifices, strength, and contributions of those who came before us, we also reaffirm our commitment to building a future rooted in justice, unity, and empowerment.
