📢 STATEMENT: Due Process for Inspector General Matters.

The Randallstown NAACP Branch #7032-B stands firm in calling for full transparency, fairness, and legal compliance in the selection and oversight of Baltimore County’s Inspector General.

📝 The County Code (§3-14-103) mandates a public, competitive process. This role must remain independent, free from political influence, and focused on protecting the people—not power.

🔎 We urge County officials and stakeholders to:
✔️ Respect due process
✔️ Uphold ethical standards
✔️ Defend the integrity of the IG office

🗣️ “This position is more than a job—it’s a public trust.” – Dr. Tekemia Dorsey, President

📣 STATEMENT: Fair Redistricting Matters.

The Randallstown NAACP Branch #7032-B calls on Baltimore County to adopt a redistricting plan that is legally compliant, community-centered, and racially equitable.

🗺️ The Charter demands more than numbers — it requires:
✅ Equal district sizes (≤10% deviation)
✅ Compact, contiguous boundaries
✅ Respect for neighborhoods & cultural identity

✊🏽 Our communities must not be divided for political convenience. Redistricting affects:

1. Representation

2. Public resources

3. School funding

4. Neighborhood revitalization

🗣️ “Redistricting is not just about maps—it’s about justice, voice, and visibility.” – Dr. Tekemia Dorsey, President
