Starts With The Heart is getting ready for our Trunk or Treat Fall Festival this October, and there are two ways to be part of it. 🎃🍬

Come out with the family for an evening of Trunk or Treat fun, including a dedicated Sensory Hour from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by the event opening to everyone from 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM.

We’re also looking for people to volunteer, host a trunk, or donate to help make the event happen. Donations needed include sensory toys, candy, and gently used kids’ costumes.

We went to be a blessing… but we walked away blessed. ❤️

“Do not forget to do good and to share with others…” — Hebrews 13:16

What a beautiful time at the shelter sharing a meal, praying, laughing, and simply spending quality time with our brothers and sisters. It felt SO good to be back with them.

They were incredibly grateful for the food and the company, but we are just as grateful for them. Sometimes ministry isn’t about doing something big, it’s about sitting at the table, listening, sharing life, and reminding one another that we are seen, loved, and not alone.

We are so thankful to be a small part of what God is doing in our city. 🙏

Community happens at the table. Love shows up. And sometimes the people you came to bless end up blessing you right back. ❤️

Starts With The Heart was grateful to be in San Diego August 28–30 alongside Hog Mob Ministries for The MOB Tour 2026.

It was a powerful weekend of ministry, community, connection, and serving people right where they are. We’re thankful for every conversation, every person we met, and every opportunity to be part of what God was doing throughout the weekend.

Starts With The Heart is collecting gently used children’s Halloween costumes for families who may need a little extra support this season.

Costume donations can be dropped off:
Tuesdays | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
Sundays | Bring donations to the Kids Check-In Area

Every costume donated gives a child the opportunity to participate, have fun, and make memories this Halloween.

This film explores a unique perspective on the ministry, focusing on the true discipleship and brotherhood that’s intentionally fostered. Many know the music that some of the brothers produce, but the ministry is far more than that. Watch the film and learn more about it.

Beloved Stories created this film to tell the story and show the impact of this ministry, praying that as viewers understand the impact, that they would prayerfully be moved to help support this worthy work.

Starts With The Heart is proud to partner with Hope Women’s Center to bring free support, resources, and classes directly to women and teen girls in our community.

Every Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Hope Women’s Center provides crisis support, resource referrals, and classes focused on topics like healthy boundaries, parenting, understanding trauma, emotional health, Bible studies, and more.

Classes are offered from 1:30PM to 2:30 PM at Starts With The Heart, 1830 W. Glenrosa Ave., Phoenix.

If you or someone you know could benefit from encouragement, practical support, and a safe place to grow, come join us on Tuesdays.
