There is a special kind of power in performance when the space is intimate—when every breath, every footstep, and every cry of the guitar is felt as deeply as it is heard.

At Tablao La Pinta Flamenca, the audience is not separated from the story—you are welcomed into it. Seated just steps from the artists, you may discover your own memories, longings, heartbreaks, and joys reflected in the performance.

Entering a flamenco tablao feels like crossing a threshold into another time—a world shaped by rhythm, mystery, and raw human emotion. For a few unforgettable hours, the outside world disappears, and everyone in the room becomes part of something shared.

Our deepest gratitude to the extraordinary artists of Amor, Quejío y Vuelo—La Emi, José Junco, Olivia Rojas, Misael Barraza Díaz, and Eddie Garcia—for sharing their artistry, vulnerability, and passion with Phoenix this weekend. You did more than perform a story; you created a space where every person in the audience could find a place within it.

Thank you to everyone who entered this world with us and experienced the magic of Tablao La Pinta Flamenca. Special thanks to ALAC and to our Executive Director Carlos Montufar Carlos Montufar and Assistant Coordinator Andy Vidal Andrew Vidal for making this event a total success!!!

Love. Lament. Flight.

There comes a moment when the heart can no longer remain where it has been.

It must rise.
It must risk.
It must fly.

Amor, Quejío y Vuelo is an emotional journey told through the universal language of feeling — following a woman through the ecstasy of love, the shattering silence of its loss, and the unexpected discovery of something that had been within her all along: the strength to rise.

Through the raw power of Flamenco, the stage becomes a landscape of memory — searching glances, absence, desire, echoes of what once was, and a hope that quietly refuses to die.

Bringing this story to life is an extraordinary gathering of artists:

La Emi & José Junco — dance
Misael Barraza Díaz — guitar
Olivia Rojas — cante
Eddie Garcia — percussion

Together, they speak without explanation — through the body, the voice, the strings, the rhythm, and the silence between them.

Because some loves change us.
Some losses break us open.

And sometimes, what feels like falling…
is the beginning of flight.
