🍩 Donut Day may have come and gone, but we're still smiling as we look back at how The Salvation Army celebrated this special day across the Southwest Division. ❤️
From delivering donuts and prayer keychains to first responders with The Salvation Army Estrella Mountain Corps, to sharing appreciation with veterans, community partners, and emergency personnel through The Salvation Army - Tucson and The Salvation Army Prescott Corps, our teams carried on the legacy of the Salvation Army Donut Lassies.
In The Salvation Army Southern Nevada, staff and volunteers honored veterans with sweet treats and gratitude, while our The Salvation Army Metro Phoenix team visited the Arizona State Veteran Home alongside community partners to share donuts, resources, fellowship, and meaningful conversations.
More than 100 years after the Donut Lassies first served soldiers on the front lines during World War I, this sweet tradition continues to bring people together, spark conversations, and remind others that they are seen, valued, and appreciated.
Thank you to our volunteers and community partners who helped make National Donut Day so special. Together, we're continuing a tradition of service that has been bringing comfort, connection, and encouragement to others for more than a century. 🍩💙
