Yesterday, we brought the vibes and good times to Little Gay Pub for the Philly Black Pride Chocolate Social! 🍫🖤🏳️‍🌈

Our Board member Rosko(Rosko Daniel Scott )caught up with our community and asked one simple question: “What’s been the highlight of your summer?” ☀️

Thank you to everyone who came out, shared their stories, laughed with us, and made the night so sweet! 🥂🍫

So what’s YOUR summer highlight been? 👀☀️

Today was a beginning, not a conclusion. Thank you to everyone who testified, shared their stories, and stood with our community. The conversations have started. Now we push for accountability, transparency, and action. I’ll continue working with City leaders while standing firmly with the community I serve. Philadelphia can and must do better.

So many barriers were broken, and we’re deeply thankful to the entire team for including us, honoring the community, and inspiring us all. We can’t wait for the album to drop! ✨

Our community deserves to be heard. If you witnessed or experienced policing, public safety concerns, or other issues during Pride in the Gayborhood, this is your opportunity to make your voice count.

If you can’t attend in person, you can still submit your story to be included in the official record. Please don’t let your experience go unheard. Stand up, speak out, and help ensure our community is part of the conversation.

📅 August 5 | 10:00 AM

The way police show up outside Black and Brown LGBTQ+ bars in the Gayborhood does not match the way they police other spaces. That difference deserves to be named, documented, and addressed.

If you experienced or witnessed it during Pride, or even OUTSIDE OF PRIDE, testify on August 5 at 10 a.m. in City Hall, Room 400. Silence will not create accountability.
