The trucks are rolling in, the lawn is getting ready, and Parks on Tap is taking over the garden this week!

It all kicks off Wednesday — come grab a drink, enjoy the garden, and soak up one of the prettiest little green spaces in the city. 🌱🍺✨

What a night! 💚✨ Our Dîner En Vert Food Truck Night was everything we hoped it would be—and more!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the garden look so festive. We loved seeing so many of you dressed up, spreading out your picnic blankets, sharing food with friends and neighbors, and truly embracing the spirit of the evening. 🌿🧺

Thank you Deke’s BBQ, Humpty's Dumplings, Victor’s Pizza Truck and Bar Hygge for coming out and keeping everyone well fed! And, of course, the always-reliable Ali from the Mister Softee truck 🍦—who we basically have on speed dial at this point!

A huge thank you to Brian Birsa @ BeeSquaredMusic for entertaining us for nearly THREE hours and providing the perfect soundtrack to a beautiful summer night in the garden. 🎶💚

And, of course, thank you to our volunteers, neighbors, friends, and everyone who helped make the evening possible. Seeing so many familiar faces—and so many new ones—enjoying the garden together is exactly why we love hosting these nights.

Philadelphia summer nights don’t get much better than this. 💚🌿✨

Please consider attending Council-member Jeffrey Young JR.'s Quality of Life Town Hall meeting on Wednesday August 12th at Community College of Philadelphia, 434 N 17th Street 19130, Winnet Student Life Building, The Great Hall, Room S2-19 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

The Discussion Topics will include:

- L & I Enforcement

- Sanitation & Quality of Life

- Streets & Services

- Public Safety Initiatives

- Neighbor & Business Relations

Council-member Young has been a great supporter of the Spring Garden Community and a sponsor of the annual Spring Garden Sunflower Festival.

The meeting will also be live streamed on YouTube for those who are unable to attend in person.
