communities in Greater Philadelphia. In giving a voice to underrepresented communities, our diverse group of multiethnic and multigenerational community members is empowered to vote on how our collective funds should be allocated among local AAPI-led and AAPI-serving nonprofits. The work of AMF is informed by and built upon our lived experiences, and by leveraging our collective knowledge and resources, we can better support the resiliency of AAPI communities. Established in 2010 by the Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy Philadelphia Chapter (AAPIP Philadelphia), AMF has since provided over $213,000 in funding to support over 30 community-led organizations that are committed to creating more sustainable and vibrant communities. Their work spans a wide range of issue areas that include: social, economic, and racial justice; civic engagement; immigrant and refugee support; K-12 and adult education; social services; and arts and culture.

📢 Give to our 2026 Community Empowerment Fund 🌟 !

We’re dreaming together of AAPI communities that are safe, vibrant, diverse, and full of opportunities for every individual to take part in all aspects of life.

Over the past decade, AMF has come together to raise more than $633,000 in support of more than 30 nonprofit organizations. With this bright momentum, AMF hopes to raise $25,000 by the end of 2025 towards our annual grant cycle in early 2026.

Let's make some art (or just come and chill) to celebrate being on the cusp of springtime. Bring some projects: old and new, or just see what we have for you to use. PAQ will provide some supplies and snacks. And if you’d like to learn the basics of crochet we're gonna do that too but we will have limited supplies (and it will be very very basic heh). ***r

The mission of is to promote storytelling in the Lao American refugee community through the mediums of art. By way of programming, events and partnership projects, we integrate storytelling with art, seeking to engage community members to share their own personal stories, allowing us to do it in the way we want to be seen and heard. We acknowledge the work of Lao American artists already sharing their own stories while giving voice to those who cannot do so for themselves, in the hopes of healing the scars of war and beginning the process of regular intercultural, intergenerational exchanges.

is a grassroots organization with a mission to organize Korean and Asian Americans toward social, racial, and economic justice in Greater Philadelphia and beyond. Woori Center builds our community power by running programs in five key program areas: community organizing, civic engagement, direct services, youth leadership, and arts & culture. We envision a world in which low- and middle-income, immigrant, people of color, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized communities work together as change-makers to create a more just and equitable society in which we can all thrive.

This Lunar New Year we want to recognize all that celebrate across our Asian Diaspora. The Lunar New Year is celebrated across East and Southeast Asia, including countries like China, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and the Philippines. Within each, there are different traditions and values upheld to ring in the new year. This year’s zodiac is that of the Snake, which represents good luck, rebirth, and regeneration. Going into the next four years AMF hopes that our communities will embody these values and take care of one another. They might try and break our spirit, but communities stay strong and alive. Please be safe and have fun this weekend with the various going ons from local orgs.
