Our Founding Fathers
“Father the fatherless, defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.”
— Psalm 82:3
This Father’s Day, we pause with deep gratitude to honor six remarkable men whose faith, strength, and steadfast commitment helped lay the foundation for what Life Turning Point of Philadelphia is today. Pastor Oliver, Walt Kubiak, Vincent Calloway, Alan Hinkle, Skip Henry, and Dee Adcock stood firm through seasons of uncertainty, sacrifice, and rebuilding, believing wholeheartedly in the vision God had placed before us.
When the road was difficult and the future unclear, they chose faith over fear. They offered wisdom, prayer, encouragement, leadership, and unwavering support, helping create a place where women and children could encounter hope, healing, stability, and the love of Christ.
Their legacy is woven into every life touched by this ministry. Because of their obedience and willingness to stand in the gap, countless families have been reminded that they are seen, valued, and never forgotten by God.
Today, we celebrate these men not only as leaders and supporters, but as our Founding Fathers, men whose lives reflect the heart of fatherhood as God intended: compassionate, steadfast, protective, and rooted in faith. We thank God for each of them and honor the lasting impact they continue to make through Life Turning Point of Philadelphia.
Happy Father’s Day.
