to one of the most powerful moments in our chapter’s history — celebrating the 100th birthday of our beloved Emeritus member, Mr. Darius Berry, in 2022.

A proud Hamptonian and a distinguished Brother of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Mr. Berry represents a century of leadership, service, dignity, and community impact. His life and legacy continue to inspire generations of Pirates here in Philadelphia.

Through the Berry‑Lyons Achievement Award, his commitment to uplifting students lives on — ensuring that future Hamptonians feel the same support, encouragement, and excellence he modeled for decades.

As we honor 105 years of the Philadelphia Hampton Alumni Chapter, we proudly uplift a man whose legacy is woven into our chapter’s story.

Good morning Hamptonians!

Our community drive is TODAY at Panera Bread location in the Madison Bldg. of the Presidential Apartments.
We are supporting Fab Youth Philly and Wagner Middle School.

Items needed:
Gift cards ( Five Below, Amazon, Target, Walmart)
Hygiene products
Underwear- size small- adult
Basketball shorts
Laundry detergent
Non perishable food.
* Wagner has a full service cupboard for students. And they have a washer and dryer at the school.
*Fab Youth Philly has a program called Playground Captains. They use the gift card to buy supplies and for prizes. They also teach children to swim. A student may need a swim suit.
