A Phillies win on opening day has us feeling nostalgic to 2009 when we honored our “World Effing Champions”….

6th place ain’t bad when you’re fighting an uphill battle…

***we don’t own rights to this music***

18th to 9th to 6th out of 33ish in 3 years...trending upwards...

1st out of 11ish in the Goodtimers...which does look nice next to our name

We want to thank Bart White for years of service with the Goodtimers N.Y.A. It is truly a thankless job and Bart has been a great leader for many years

We also want to congratulate our friends
Gormley NYB
Lobster club
South Philly Strutters
Two Street Stompers NYB
for all finishing in the top 10 of the comic brigades

Time to rest up and get back to work at the end of January...

A lot of questions being sent to our media relations department so we would figure we could clear them up…

-The Mummers are on tv- Comcast “ME Tv” or “WFMZ”, mostly everything else please download the WFMZ app
- We are expecting to be on tv between 12-2, the sooner the better but we’re appx 24th out of 32ish brigades
- Do we pay a graphic designer? No.
- do we hire a chereographer? No
- We have 1 min to set up, 2 mins to do our “drill” and 1 min to get out of the drilling area
- How are scored, what are the rules, what are we scored on, are the scores audited and can the judges do simple math? Next question…
- have we ever won? Yes but it’s been almost as long as the Cowboys…
- do we want to win? Yes and any mummer who says they don’t is lying to you

But the only thing that really matters is continuing this great tradition with our friends and family. We are a multigenerational brigade who just goes out tomorrow and shows the city of Philadelphia why this parade was voted #1 National holiday parade

Happy new to you and yours and a great 2026 ahead to all of us!!!!

Least talked division of the parade? ✔️
Most competitive division of the parade? ✔️✔️
Best part of the actual parade with nonstop music? ✔️✔️✔️

Imagine if we ever truly get organized but maybe that's the fun in all of it...

What does all this mean? 😏

You'll need to tune in New Years Day to find out what the Tappers are up to this year....if you dare

From 1994-2003, we were the dominate Comic brigade in the Philadelphia mummers parade. Many comic brigades emulated our ideas and drills. At that time, 4 first places in 10 years was unheard of. We never were out of the top 10, 8 of those years in the top 5, 6 of those years top 3....50ish guys were competing against much larger brigades including most of the brigades in the current w***h division....

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Sort of like us from 94-03- the parade just keeps winning and winning and winning…

An iconic Philadelphia New Year’s Day tradition continues to receive national recognition: the Mummers Parade has been ranked the best holiday parade in America by USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
