Traditional youth sports, such as baseball and basketball, can be very effective means of youth development, but these sports are not for every child. These days many kids are opting to get involved in action sports instead. Unlike traditional sports, action sports lack a guidance and support system to help kids develop to their fullest potential. This is where The Right Direction Youth Developmen

t Program comes in. Directed and mentored by professional athletes we offer youth involved in action sports a support system that facilitates progression and development as both athletes and young people.

We met Remi a few weeks ago at the LLS/Blood Cancer United Visionaries of the Year Grand Finale, and his infectious smile and inspiring story made a lasting impression on us!

After the event, we connected with Remi’s mom to see if we could surprise him with a new bike. We learned that he’ll be celebrating his 4th birthday in July and that he loves being outside, so we knew it was the perfect gift!!

We were thrilled to surprise him with an early birthday present and hope that he has an epic summer filled with more smiles, adventures, and plenty of miles on his new bike!

On Friday we had the opportunity to team up with LLS/Blood Cancer United for the 8th year in a row to gift a bike to Seth, this year’s Honored Hero!!

Seth is looking forward to spending time on the trails with his new bike, an upcoming trip to Florida, and playing baseball this summer! As a blood cancer survivor, he was brave enough to share his story and inspire this year’s class of candidates throughout their campaigns.

Collectively, this year’s Visionary candidates raised more than $110,000 to support blood cancer patients, fund lifesaving research, and provide critical resources for families navigating a diagnosis.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations that are making a meaningful impact in our community and beyond. Congratulations, Seth—we hope your new bike brings you plenty of adventures. Happy trails! 🚲☀️💛

You can’t steal the joy of riding!

Having a bike stolen is incredibly tough, but today was all about a fresh start. We had the absolute honor of gifting Lainey a brand-new bicycle to get her back on the move!

Watching her roll away with a massive smile is the perfect reminder of why we do what we do. Ride safe, ride far, and enjoy every mile, Lainey!

CHANGING LIVES, ONE BIKE AT A TIME!

The mission of the R.A.T. (Ride Across Toledo) ride has always been simple but powerful: to put bikes under kids who need them most. Thanks to our incredible community and an amazing nomination from the Toledo Federation of Teachers (TFT), we were able to do just that for an awesome kid named Jhalen!
Jhalen is officially rolling into summer with a brand-new set of wheels!

Huge thanks to TFT for connecting us with Jhalen, and to everyone who rode, supported, and donated to this year's R.A.T. Ride. You didn't just help buy a bike—you helped hand over freedom, fun, and adventure.
