Rain didn’t stop the party today!

The 1st “ANNUAL” Funky Turtle Brewing Tour De Turtle was an absolute HIT! Even with a bit of drizzle, over 60 amazing riders came out to pedal for a purpose.

Because of everyone who registered, we were able to purchase a brand-new bicycle for Esmeralda Rose—and to say she was STOKED on her new wheels is an understatement! Can’t wait to gift more kids bikes from today’s event!

From all of us at The Right Direction, THANK YOU for showing up, riding hard, and making a real difference in our community today!

Riding Rain or shine!!!!!!

We’re ready and excited for the inaugural Tour De Turtle! There’s still time to sign up, and walk-up registration will begin at 10 AM today.

The taproom doors are already open, and we’re expecting a great turnout for today’s ride!

The Ski Food Truck will also be set up from 11 AM–3 PM, so whether you want some tasty food before or after the ride, we have you covered.

Our good friends over at Funky Turtle Brewing Company wanted to host a ride for us and we graciously accepted!

Time: Registration/Sign In Opens at 10:00 am
Ride Rolls at 12:00 pm (Ride will take approximately 2 hours)

Cost: $35 Includes Ride Registration + Post Ride Beer
+ (If You Register BEFORE 08/23 - FREE TSHIRT)

Route Details: 18 Mile Loop featuring the Chessie Circle Trail, Ottawa Park, Promenade Park, Glass City Riverwalk, Willys Park, and the Library Village Bicycle Route

The Right Direction’s largest fundraiser of the year is officially around the corner on Sunday, October 4th, 2026 at the Earnest Brew Works Wheelhouse

To make this year’s event a success, we are actively looking for Silent Auction item donations and Event Sponsors.

How You Can Get Involved:

Become an Event Sponsor: We have several sponsorship packages available, including prominent placement of your brand/name on our ALWAYS popular Biketoberfest event t-shirts!

Donate an Auction Item: Gift cards, themed baskets, gear, experiences, or unique products—every item helps us raise critical funds.

As our primary fundraiser of the year, all proceeds go directly toward keeping our youth programs running and providing bicycles, gear, and assistance to kids and riders in need.
