Rotary's impact knows no borders!

Join us tomorrow, Friday, October 30th, as our very own Rotarian Lorena Gloden takes us on a journey to Cúcuta, Colombia, to learn about the World of the Senses Global Grant project at Instituto La Esperanza.

This inspiring international initiative is helping create a specialized multisensory learning and therapeutic space for individuals with intellectual, sensory, and physical disabilities.

Thanks to a $10,000 grant from the Perrysburg Rotary Club, matched by $10,000 from Rotary District 6600, we're helping make a difference thousands of miles from home!

Tomorrow's presentation is a wonderful opportunity to see firsthand how our Club, our District, and Rotary International each play an integral role in Creating Lasting Impact across the globe. From local generosity to international partnerships and the power of The Rotary Foundation, you'll gain a better understanding of how Rotary turns an idea into a project capable of changing lives.

It's Service Above Self in action, and a reminder that the work we do right here in Northwest Ohio can reach far beyond our own community!

Join the Perrysburg Rotary Club tomorrow, October 23rd, as we celebrate World Polio Day with a special PINTS FOR POLIO gathering!

We're mixing a little education with a whole lot of fellowship, fun polio facts, maybe a few prizes, and opportunities to support Rotary's mission to End Polio Now!

Our friends at the Hilton Garden Inn Toledo/Perrysburg will be serving up burgers, hot dogs, warm potato chips, beans, and macaroni salad for lunch. AND.....Chef Mike will be manning the Float Bar for dessert!

A cash bar will be available for those interested in an adult beverage. Not your thing? Grab a root b**r a from the dessert bar and join the fun! It's not what's in your glass that matters, it's the cause we're raising it for!

What an incredible legacy of PLAY!

A heartfelt thank you to Meteorologist Ryan Wichman and the entire Wood County Plays team for allowing the Perrysburg Rotary Club to be a small part of your amazing journey!

Watching Perrysburg Rotary Community Park transform into a welcoming, inclusive space where PLAY is for ALL has been truly special.

While this chapter may be coming to a close, the laughter, memories, and friendships made on these playgrounds will continue for generations to come.

Thank you for dreaming big, making a difference, and creating a lasting impact in our community!

Can't Believe This Was 5 Years Ago! ❤️

Five years ago, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of our very first Wood County Plays playground. It's hard to believe how quickly time has passed!

Today, we have another important announcement to share with our followers and supporters.

After much discussion and thought, Wood County Plays will officially be ending operations by the end of this year.

This wasn't an easy decision, but we are incredibly proud of what we've been able to accomplish and the impact we've made in our community.

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to all of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, community partners, local businesses, and everyone who supported our mission along the way. Whether you donated money, volunteered your time, helped build a playground, or simply spread the word, you helped make it all possible.

Most importantly, thank you to the families and children who have enjoyed the playgrounds we worked so hard to bring to our community. Seeing those playgrounds filled with laughter, friendships, and memories has always been the greatest reward.

While Wood County Plays may be coming to an end as an organization, the playgrounds and the opportunities for play that we helped create will continue to serve families for years to come.

We're proud of what we built together, and we couldn't have done it without you. Thank you all!

FALL FUN WITH A PURPOSE!

At the Perrysburg Rotary Club, we believe the best community celebrations are the ones that bring people together AND make a difference.

As we gather for our 7th Annual Fall into Rotary Park this Sunday (October 25th), we're turning fall fun into meaningful community impact by collecting non-perishable food donations to help stock the shelves of the Perrysburg Heights Community Center Food Pantry and support our neighbors!

❤️ WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?

Anything non-perishable!

🥫 Canned goods
🥣 Cereal and oatmeal
🍝 Pasta and sauces
🥜 Peanut butter
🍚 Rice and boxed meals
🛒 Any other non-perishable food items!

There are NO specific preferences. EVERYTHING is needed and appreciated!

The Perrysburg Heights Community will be collecting donations at the event to help keep their pantry stocked and support our neighbors.

Building Beds, Building community, and making a difference!!

Checking in from The Commodore Courtyard with the Perrysburg Schools High School Interact Club and the Perrysburg Rotary Club for today’s Let’s Build Beds a Bed event!

Our Interact students are rolling up their sleeves, picking up some tools, and putting Service Above Self into action!

Today is about so much more than building beds. It’s about making sure children in our community have a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads at night. ❤️

We couldn’t be prouder to see the next generation of Rotarians stepping up, working together, and creating lasting impact right here in Northwest Ohio!

Growing Northwest Ohio. Creating Lasting Impact!

October is Community Economic Development Month in Rotary, and we’re excited to welcome Paul Zito of the Regional Growth Partnership Northwest Ohio (RGP) as our guest speaker tomorrow, October 9th!

Paul will share how RGP is helping Northwest Ohio, specifically the Perrysburg area, thrive by attracting new investment, supporting business growth, creating economic opportunities, and connecting our region to the global marketplace.

From local businesses to international partnerships, economic development plays an important role in building stronger, more vibrant communities. We look forward to learning how Northwest Ohio is positioning itself for continued success!

100 BASKETS. 100 FAMILIES. 400 NEIGHBORS.

Today, the Perrysburg Rotary Club officially kicked off our 2026 PRC + PCU Food Pantry Thanksgiving Drive by gathering around the table for a Thanksgiving feast of our own, courtesy of our wonderful friends at the Hilton Garden Inn Toledo/Perrysburg!

Now, we’re ready to help our neighbors gather around theirs.

🍽️ $45 provides a complete Thanksgiving meal for a family of four.

Our goal is to fund 100 Thanksgiving baskets, $4,500 to help feed 400 of our neighbors this Thanksgiving!

Throughout October and November, watch for our PCU Thanksgiving Basket Visual at weekly meetings as we showcase everything included in each basket and track our progress toward 100 families.

Help us put Thanksgiving dinner on the table for our neighbors!
