Reminder: There will be no regular Friday luncheon meeting today (6/5/26) as we prepare for our 48th Annual Perrysburg Rotary Charter Night this evening!

Tonight, we celebrate a year of service, fellowship, and impact while honoring the leadership of President Greg Rufty and welcoming Incoming President Hallie Nagel as she begins her Rotary year on July 1st.

We look forward to an evening of memories, recognition, and Rotary fellowship as we continue our tradition of uniting for good and creating lasting impact in our community!

🌟 Watching Students Take Flight Through STRIVE 🌟

The Perrysburg Rotary Club is incredibly proud to partner with Penta Career Center through our STRIVE Program, a program dedicated to encouraging, supporting, and empowering students as they prepare for their futures.

This year, we were honored to award fifteen $300 scholarships to an outstanding group of STRIVE students: Zane B., Maribel C., Rian C., Miranda F., William G., Benjamin G., Reece H., Alessandra L., Xen N., Jay'la P., Anthony P., Logan R., SeMya S., Colton S., and Robert S.

One of the greatest rewards of Rotary is investing in the youth, watching their confidence grow, celebrating their achievements, and seeing them take flight toward bright futures. Through hard work, perseverance, and determination, these students have demonstrated what it means to strive for success.

A special thank you to our STRIVE leaders, Janel Haas and Walt Celley, whose dedication and encouragement help make this impactful program possible year after year.

Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients, we can't wait to see where your journey takes you next! 💙💛

🇺🇸 As we head into Memorial Day, the Perrysburg Rotary Club joins our community to pause, reflect, and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

While the weekend often marks the unofficial start of summer, Memorial Day is first and foremost a time of gratitude, remembrance, and respect for our fallen heroes. ❤️🤍💙

Here in Perrysburg, our community comes together each year not only to celebrate patriotism, but to honor those who gave everything in service to our country.

Join the Perrysburg American Legion Post 28 and our community this Memorial Day for the annual parade and cemetery service honoring our fallen heroes.

🕙 Parade begins Monday, May 25th at 10 AM
📍 New route for 2026 due to downtown construction
🏛 Ends at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery for a special memorial service and 21-gun salute

PLUS… don’t miss the 9:30 AM unveiling of the “Framework of America” community mural hosted by Main ART-ery and kick off The Great Perrysburg Treasure Hunt while you’re downtown! ☀️

Just a friendly reminder that there is no Perrysburg Rotary Club meeting today in observance of Memorial Day weekend.

We will reconvene next Friday, May 29th, as we welcome our guest speaker, Jennifer Bohnsack from Isaiah 117 House Lucas Co OH, for what promises to be a meaningful and inspiring program.

A proud first for Perrysburg Rotary Club!

Congratulations to Kivani Govender and Kylesh Govender, the inaugural recipients of the $1,000 Perrysburg Rotary Interact Club Scholarships, presented yesterday at the Perrysburg Schools Foundation’s 40th Annual Recognition Banquet.

Through their leadership, service, and commitment to their school and community, both students embody the spirit of Interact and Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self.

Uniting for Good Around Perrysburg!!

Rotarian shout outs to Wood County Prosecutor Paul Dobson, Perrysburg Schools Superintendent Kadee Anstadt, Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn, City of Perrysburg Mayor Mark Weber, and Perrysburg Municipal Judge Aram Ohanian for proudly showing up for our 6th grade students this week at Hull Prairie Intermediate School as they celebrate their D.A.R.E. graduation.

We love seeing Rotarians and friends out in the community investing in our youth, encouraging positive choices, and helping shape the next generation of leaders.

Service Above Self is alive and well in Perrysburg!
