Incredible turnout and parade in Perrysburg, OH today. It’s an honor to lead the parade carrying our nation’s flag. God bless America!

When we talk about tradition we would be amiss not to talk about our honor guard. The men and women that drop everything at a moments notice to honor a fallen brother or sister at arms are highly treasured here. Our honor guard carry the World War II era rifle, the M1 Garand, and offer a 21 gun salute to honor that veteran’s sacrifice.
Maintaining those M-1’s is a top priority as Ohio Representative Haraz Ghanbari knows first hand. Joined by Congressman Bob Latta and a room of likeminded veterans, each of our M-1 Garand rifles were fixed, cleaned, and ready for another day. Please know this is not a “photo op.” Congressman Latta lead the charge and put in a lot of hard work over several hours working side by side with veterans of every generation. Thank you Congressman Bob Latta for lending your expertise and time
