Little Socks. Lots of Love!

I'm launching a new collection effort campaign! Socksgiving!

Throughout November, we're collecting new, warm socks, especially for children!

Winter can be especially difficult for the vulnerable children we serve. Please consider hosting a sock collection at your workplace, with friends, or as a family holiday giving project!

We'll gladly arrange pickup! Just call or email us.

What a beautiful, sunny morning full of giving and gratitude! ☀️❤️
Today we offered a little “off the truck and into the trunk” curbside service to many wonderful nonprofits serving our community:

Our community has been wrapping its arms around our children in so many wonderful ways lately. ❤️

New coats from Davy and Stan.
More new coats from Carol and Sue.

A generous box of children’s socks traveled all the way from Pennsylvania from our friend Bonnie.

And then there were the COOKIES! 🍪
Cookies for Better—a wonderful student-led public charity—baked dozens of fresh oatmeal and pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies for our Annual Distribution. They were individually wrapped, hand-delivered that very day, and shared with our families and volunteers. And yes, we sampled them too!

A special thank you also to Bill, Amy, Bob and Susan for their generous support of our mission and our children.

People help us in a myriad of ways—big, small and everything in between. Every coat, every pair of socks, every cookie, every gift and every helping hand matters.

This is community.
We are so very grateful to be surrounded by such good people!

20 Years of Love, Warmth & Community!
What a wonderful honor to receive recognition from the City of Toledo and Councilwoman Erin Kramer in celebration of our 20th anniversary!

As Councilwoman Kramer so beautifully shared, the City recognizes our milestone anniversary and honors our organization for its “outstanding service and dedication to our community.”

Pictured alongside me is my dear friend and valued Board Member, Detective Israel Garrett.

A veteran, Associate Minister at Friendly Missionary Baptist Church, and recently retired Toledo Police Detective after 26 years of service, Israel has devoted so much of his life to caring for others.

He stood beside me in City Council Chambers for this special recognition, and I couldn't have asked for a kinder, more wonderful friend to share this moment with. I'm one lucky girl to call him friend! ❤️
This beautiful recognition belongs to ALL of us. Our Board of Directors, volunteers, community partners, generous supporters, and the wonderful families who have become part of our story. Together, we've built something pretty special, and I couldn't be more grateful.

Twenty years ago, we began with 50 coats and a whole lot of love. And together, we're providing tens of thousands of items of warm apparel for our most deserving children.

And Mom, I hope you're smiling from heaven...your story was my inspiration.

Thank you, Councilwoman Kramer and the City of Toledo, for this beautiful honor and for celebrating our little organization with a VERY BIG heart!
Here's to keeping our children warm, one child, one coat, and one act of kindness at a time!

Good morning!

We’re seven days from our large scale annual distribution!! 🩷🩷

🧤💜 Our 20th Annual Distribution Day is almost here!

Join us at Jones Leadership Academy of Business on Saturday, September 19 from 9am-12pm. We'll have racks FULL of coats, socks, hats, and gloves to help 800+ local kids get ready for winter. Every family is met by a personal shopper and walked through with warmth, dignity, and zero paperwork. That's been our promise for 20 years. We can't wait to see all your smiling faces!
