If you missed our Open House, no worries! There is still plenty of time to sign up for 4-H in 2026 - the deadline is April 1st.

Hello all,
Tough news...the Woodville Buckeyes 4-H Club is bummed to announce that after 35-ish years of making milkshakes at the Woodville 4th of July Celebration, we will not be able to open the milkshake stand this year.

We are a very small club this year with just 8 kids/5 families. We have tried for the past couple months to recruit enough help to be able to move forward but were unsuccessful. We reached out to other clubs, groups, and organizations. We posted pleas on Facebook. And while did find several volunteers willing to scoop ice cream and run mixers, hardly anyone was available to help on Saturday. We figured we would need at least 14 people to cover the Saturday shifts but we only had four on the schedule. Even getting things set-up was going to be tough as our usual muscle will be out of town.

We know people are going to be disappointed - heck, WE'RE disappointed - but without the manpower, we just can't do it. We do hope to be back for the 2026 celebration.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀!
We need help in the milkshake stand at the Woodville 4th of July Celebration. We're a very small club this year and we don't have enough bodies to cover the shifts for all three days - especially on Saturday.

If you're willing to help out and make milkshakes again, just for old times sake, please send us a message or email us at [email protected].

PS...you don't HAVE to be a former member to help. If you need community service hours or just enjoy scooping ice cream, we'd love to have your assistance. :)

Camper applications are due by June 15 and counselor applications must be submitted by April 15.
