Meet Two Future Olympians!

Join us Saturday, August 29, 10:30–11:30 AM at the PRC Boathouse at Bayview Park to meet 2028 Olympic hopefuls Paige Wheler and Caleb Nollenberger.

Paige recently won the Champion Single at the Canadian Henley and raced her first national trial in a PRC uni.

Caleb was a member of the 2025 Senior U.S. National Team, competing at the World Cup in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Come meet these incredible athletes and hear about their journeys!

Last weekend, we had a wonderful Parent Learn to Row event. Our junior rowers taught their parents the basics of crew and had a blast while doing it!

The Pensacola Rowing Club juniors had an excellent showing this weekend at the 29th Halifax Summer Regatta this past weekend! Results are below!

We were especially excited to have several novice rowers from our summer Learn to Row classes competing, with some racing in their very first events and even earning medals.

A huge thank you to Coach Tim White, all of our parents, the City of Pensacola Parks & Recreation Department, and the staff at Bayview Park for supporting the continued growth of the PRC program.

If you have a child between the ages of 12 and 17 who is interested in rowing, we’d love to have them join us! Visit our website for registration information. We still have one more Learn to Row session this summer!

Save the date! On Thursday July 9th, all purchases made between 4-8 pm at Panera Bread on 9th and Bayou in Pensacola will help support PRC. So go grab a salad, a sandwich, or some soup (or a combo of those) and help out our Club!

🚣‍♀️ Every experienced rower was once a beginner.

This video features one of our experienced junior rowers sharing a boat with a brand-new athlete from our very first Junior Learn to Row session of the season. Watching confidence grow from the very first stroke is one of the most rewarding parts of our sport!

If you’ve ever been curious about rowing, now is the perfect time to give it a try. Our upcoming Junior Learn to Row sessions are open for registration, and we’d love to welcome you to the boathouse.

Not a junior? We haven’t forgotten about the adults! Our Masters Beginner Rowing Class begins this coming week, and there’s still time to sign up. Whether you’re looking for a new challenge, a great workout, or a supportive community, rowing has something for everyone.

The beginner class sequence will focus on proper technique for the erg machine, sculling, and sweep rowing as well as exposure to all classes of rowing shells. Our coaches/instructors are all USRowing certified and have many years of rowing experience that includes competition at the collegiate level.

The goal of the class is for students to be qualified to row during PRC open row sessions. Dates and a general agenda are below and more information is available on our website:

Our Learn to Row event was a huge success, and we loved welcoming so many new faces to the boathouse. A huge THANK YOU to our amazing coaches, masters rowers, and enthusiastic juniors who showed up to support, encourage, and help our novices get out on the water!

The energy, teamwork, and community spirit were incredible to see. ❤️

More masters events are coming soon, so keep an eye on the website for upcoming opportunities! Juniors - the first Learn to Row of summer is right around the corner!
