The John Wass Foundation was created in loving memory of John Wass and is dedicated to honoring his life by serving others and strengthening our communities. Continuing John’s Legacy Through the Outdoors, our mission is to provide underprivileged children and individuals with special needs the opportunity to experience and enjoy the outdoors while creating meaningful experiences and lasting memories.

The Foundation places a strong focus on supporting individuals with special needs through direct opportunities and by making significant investments into special needs charities and programs that positively impact lives. We are also deeply committed to introducing and supporting outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, helping create experiences that build confidence, bring joy, and connect individuals with nature.

In addition to providing outdoor opportunities, the Foundation is committed to supporting families and local sports organizations that may not have the financial resources to obtain needed equipment, supplies, or assistance. We believe every child and individual deserves the opportunity to participate, grow, and create positive memories regardless of their circumstances.

Through generosity, compassion, and community support, the John Wass Foundation strives to make a lasting impact and continue John’s legacy by opening doors to experiences and opportunities that can positively change lives.
