I would like to reach out to you and start a discussion about a vocational training program that I’m starting. aircraft for filming and testing purposes I've now created a 501c3 called "Wounded Eagle UAS" for the purpose of training of wounded vets to become civilian sUAV/S (small unmanned aerial vehicle or systems) operators. The Wounded Eagle UAS program will teach the fundamentals of RC flight
of both fixed wing and multirotor concepts. This also includes both manned control and autonomous flight capabilities. I want to give our disabled vets an opportunity to become someone better and give them a new lease on life. By training them to become sUAV/S operators, they will have the possibility of increased job opportunities and also provide them a form of rehab building confidence, focus, and recreation. Since these types of aircraft are battery powered, sUAV/S falls into the green jobs category. This could give disabled American veterans access to assistance and grants in starting their own green companies. As for what the areas of future jobs growth and development in the civilian sUAV/S industry would be? The world of sUAV/S technology is just beginning the coming of age and its applications and capabilities are developing rapidly. Indicators from industry sources in advertisement, agriculture, film/TV, journalism, real estate, sports, travel, power utilities, and public safety are all moving in this direction. This means tens of thousands of "green" jobs will be created and I want to put our guys (wounded vets) at the head of the line. The development of the sUAV/S is a ground floor and golden opportunity for disabled American vets. There aren't a lot of people who know how to fly RC aircraft and that's our advantage. It's all about new technologies coming to the civilian world via the military and we are at the front of the wave.
