Our programs:
Breast Health Mammography- pays for breast health-related screening and diagnostic services. The Keeping Abreast Foundation presently has partnerships with The Women’s Group, Woodlands Medical Specialists and South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. Breast Cancer Assistance Program: This grant based program is designed to assist individuals needing financial assistance in our community who are undergoing treatment or in recovery from breast cancer. Support includes but it not limited to:
•Paying for mammograms for those who can’t otherwise afford them
•Assisting with the purchase of wigs and mastectomy bras
•Offsetting the expense of costly medications
•Sponsoring families in crisis
•Offsetting housecleaning costs for those in recovery

The Krewe du Ya Yas Keeping Abreast Foundation (KAB) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization that was established in 2010. The Keeping Abreast Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt charitable organization. Your donations can be used as a tax write-off within the limits of the law.
