💙 A Community That Shows Up for Our Girls 💙

We are incredibly grateful for the many ways Momentum Church - Pensacola continues to stand alongside Pace girls! On August 30th, our Executive Director, Kristin Koenigsfest, was honored to accept a generous contribution on behalf of the girls we serve at Momentum’s “Night of Worship” event. ✨

What makes this partnership especially meaningful is that Momentum’s commitment extends far beyond financial giving. Their team spends time with our girls, builds genuine connections, and creates opportunities for FUN through bingo nights, ice cream parties, and more! 🍦

Those moments matter. They remind our girls that their community sees their potential, believes in their futures, and is cheering them on every step of the way. 🎉

Thank you, Momentum Church, for sharing your time, generosity, and encouragement with our girls and for continuing to be such a meaningful part of our Pace community! 🌟

💜 Showing Up Together for International Overdose Awareness Day
On August 31st, communities around the world recognize International Overdose Awareness Day, remembering those whose lives have been lost to overdose, supporting the families who carry that loss, and raising awareness about prevention.
This year, Pace was grateful to stand alongside two incredible community partners honoring this important day.
🕯️ Our Executive Director, Kristin Koenigsfest, joined Jayla’s Voice; for the Purple Pulse International Overdose Awareness Day Signature Candlelight Vigil, featuring guest speaker Officer Tommy Norman. The evening brought families and community members together to honor lives lost and shine a light on education, awareness, and prevention.
💜 Our Development Director, Ashley Donahoo, joined Hope Above Fear for its 4th Annual International Overdose Awareness Day gathering, where more than 120 community members came together for remembrance, connection, healing, and hope, including a moving tribute honoring 45 loved ones whose lives were lost.
We’re grateful for partners like Jayla’s Voice and Hope Above Fear, whose work with Pace helps connect our girls and families to education, resources, support, and a stronger community of care. Together, we remember, raise awareness, and keep showing up for hope. 💙💜

🍳💚 Good Food for a Good Cause! 💚🍳

We LOVE our partnership with Pensacola Eggfest, presented by PenAir Credit Union and are so thankful for the many ways they continue to show up for Pace and our girls! 💚

For years, we looked for the right way to connect our two missions, and when our center began preparing fresh, nutritious meals for our girls each day, the connection became a natural one. 🤝 In 2022, our partnership officially took off, and EggFest has been helping us strengthen our food and nutrition efforts ever since! 🍽️

From including Pace as a beneficiary of their incredible (& FUN!) annual event, to donating auction packages for our fundraisers, to even providing a Big Green Egg so our girls can enjoy delicious BBQ and freshly grilled meals 🔥, their support helps us nourish our girls’ bodies, minds, and POTENTIAL so they can focus, work toward their goals, and THRIVE!💪

And our girls have gotten in on the fun too! They’ve learned valuable skills by participating in cooking classes (including learning how to cook on the Big Green Egg!) and even competed at Pensacola EggFest event last year! They did such an amazing job, had an absolute blast, and made memories we know they’ll carry with them for years to come. 👩‍🍳💚

We were so excited to receive our donation from the proceeds of the 2025 Pensacola EggFest and are incredibly appreciative of the impact those funds will have on our girls! 🎓

We’re also excited to have Pensacola EggFest Co-Founder Doug Jolly joining our Pace Board of Directors this year, bringing his passion for our community and creating opportunities for others to our Board as well. 🙌

We are so excited to recognize Florida Blue Foundation for their incredible support of Pace Center for Girls, Escambia- Santa Rosa and the educational success of our girls!

Since 2014, Florida Blue Foundation has stood alongside our center, helping create opportunities, remove barriers, and open doors for girls in our community. 💙 Their latest gift to our GED Program helps girls work toward earning their diplomas, reach important milestones, and take meaningful next steps toward college, careers, and brighter futures!

We’re also proud to have Hong Potomski, Market President for Northwest Florida at Florida Blue, serving on our Pace Board of Directors! Her leadership and dedication to our community make this connection even more special. ✨

Career Fair Day!
Back to school means more than new classes and fresh notebooks. It’s also the perfect time for our girls to start thinking about their futures, exploring their interests, and getting a first-hand look at the careers that could be waiting for them! Today, our girls had the opportunity to connect with local professionals at our Career Fair, learning about different career paths, asking questions, and imagining what their own futures could look like.

A very special thank you to our amazing board members Stacy, April, Jody, and Wendy, for spending time with our girls and helping make today’s Career Fair a success. We’re also grateful to Josey from Pensacola State College for joining us and sharing her time and expertise!

These conversations give our girls the chance to see what’s possible, ask questions, and start building a vision for their futures. 💙

Here’s to a new school year filled with big dreams, new possibilities, and plenty of future career goals! ✨📚

🎉 SURPRISE! 🎉
Monday got a whole lot more exciting when our friends from Andrews Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center stopped by Pace with an AMAZING surprise for our girls! 💜
They arrived with an incredible haul of games, crafts, stuffed animals, period supplies, and so much more!
And judging by those big smiles in this photo, we think it’s safe to say the surprise was a BIG hit! Our girls were thrilled to see all the goodies and even more excited to shop in the closet this Friday!! 😍
