Bring donations to the Ranger’s Station at Big Lagoon State Park. We are accepting yard sale donations from April 7-25. Each Tues from 3-6 and Saturday from 12-3. Special arrangements can be made for large items! Email [email protected] to make arrangements. Please, no clothes.

🌿✨ **March Cleanup Series for Pensacola State Parks & Friends!** ✨🌿

The tides bring shells… and sometimes things that don’t belong. Let’s roll up our sleeves and give our beautiful corner of the Gulf a little love this March. 💚

📍 March 4 – Gulf Beach Hwy Cleanup
Meet at the park entrance at **8:30 AM** to receive your safety vest and bucket. Please bring your own picker.

📍 March 11 – Tarklin Point Nature Preserve Cleanup
Meet at the Tarklin parking lot at **8:30 AM**.
Bring your work gloves and water. Rangers will transport volunteers out to the point for debris removal.
🌧 Rain date: March 25

📍 March 18 – Gulf Beach Hwy / Sorrento Intersection Cleanup
We’ll focus on the curve at Gulf Beach Hwy and Sorrento.
Meet **under the bridge across from Salty Pearl at 8:30 AM** for safety vests and trash bags.

📍 March 25 – Tarklin Nature Preserve (If Needed)
If the point cleanup needs finishing, we’ll meet at Tarklin to complete it. If not, we’ll do a roadway cleanup in front of the Tarklin entrance. Safety vests, buckets, and trash bags provided.

Bring a friend. Bring your neighbor. Bring your love for this wild, windswept stretch of Florida we call home. 🌊🌞

Let’s leave every mile a little brighter than we found it.

🌿 Wednesday Workdays Update! 🌿

Look what we’ve been up to:

✔ 1/14 – Rebuilt shelves in the smaller repaired CSO shed.
✔ 1/21 – Cleaned out and organized the large CSO shed.
✔ 1/28 – Land clean-up at Big Lagoon State Park under the bridge to Perdido Key. Trash, broken glass, and even an old tire removed.
✔ 2/4 – Weather had other plans.
✔ 2/11 – Pruned Chickasaw plum trees and weeded the entrance garden. It’s looking fresh and welcoming!

📅 Coming Up:

🔹 2/16 (Monday!) – Shorebird fencing on Perdido Key
Meet at West Beach at 8:30 AM
Gloves, shovels, and mallets provided

🔹 2/25 – Beach or roadway clean-up (or a surprise project!)

The Grinch may say he hates Christmas, but even he can’t resist our trails, tall pines, and a little coastal magic. 🎄🌿
If you see something green lurking near the park sign, don’t worry. He’s probably just borrowing some joy… and maybe a quiet walk.
