Volunteer with Canopy Restoration Project! We're planting trees on the first three weekends in November. See the individual signup links for dates and locations. Please note, each weekend and day varies in starting location, so read all of the information and mark your calendar before you sign up. We'll send out reminders via email and text the week before your signup date. Thank you in advance!

Birds needs trees! Sign up to help plant trees in Pensacola next month.

We need your help to plant more than 200 trees across Pensacola this November!

By the end of 2026, our volunteers will have planted more than 600 native trees in our community. After the tremendous tree loss from Isaias, our canopy needs all the help it can get.

Thank you so much to Francis M. Weston Audubon Society for having us at the last meeting! It was great hearing from the other speakers. We’re looking forward to learning about bees at the next meeting!

Did you know that the Francis M. Weston Audubon Society meetings are open to the public?

They feature different speakers and topics every month and this month we’re one of the speakers!

Our team is splitting up so half can be at the Pensacola City Council meeting to fight for tree ordinances that protect birds and half will be sharing what we learned from Nestival and how to get involved in Nestival 2027!

We hope to see you at one or both of the events tonight 🐥

Protecting trees and their nests was the inspiration for Nestival!

Bursts of color and noise may be fun for most people, but they wreak havoc on coastal birds, especially for nesting species. After each fireworks explosion, birds panic and fly from their nests, scattering the babies and leaving them vulnerable.

First annual Nestival was so much fun!
It was amazing seeing the community come together to celebrate and learn about birds.
