At the request of FGC, here are 2 Personal testimonies from the recipients -
1. I am so thankful for these food drives it really helps me be able to feed my family. We have a lot of kids. We have 6 kids, and I have one on the way, so it is just a pleasure to be able to partner with beautiful organizations like this. We do struggle a lot, you know. And the economy is not getting any better. So we do appreciate it so much. Thank you. - K
2. So drive-thrus like this really help the community for people who are low-income, especially when snap benefits, don't meet the needs of the family, grocery prices, gas prices at the end of the month. The economy, and everything is really, really heavy right now. So this extremely helps us. Thanks. - H
Thanks to The Point Church for giving us space, Feeding the Gulf Coast for organizing at the state level, the NAS Salior volunteers who arrived today and LOST KEY KREWE & Key folks for being hands-on the ground volunteers! π«π«Ά
