Thank you to ALL who have supported the removal of Gender Identity out of the Civil Rights Code. Your prayers, conversations with those in your community, and the thousands of signatures we received on our petition to remove Gender Identity helped pass this legislation.

That said, we are deeply troubled with those who are continuing to spread fear and sowing seeds of discontentment within the gay and transgender communities in Iowa. Please know that you are not hated and like everyone else, are children of our Lord Jesus Christ, and deserve to be treated equally as the Iowa Constitution demands.
