Day one of the Rotarians Uniting for Good District Conference was an INSPIRATION! We heard from Past RI President Stephanie Urchick, RI Director-Elect Tom Gump, our Regional RI Public Image Leader Patrick Harrison and the Flight to End Polio pilots. There were 30 Guardian of Integrity Awardees - nominated because they embody . Fun and fellowship was found in the House of Friendship where attendees learned about RAG on Mental Health Initiatives, Rotary Action Group Against Slavery, Rotary Club of HOPE - Homeless Outreach, Prevention and Education, Mason's Light House and other projects that .

The afternoon sessions were the perfect blend of fun, impact, and inspiration!

From Public Image to Membership to The Rotary Foundation, each session was filled with engaging conversations, fresh ideas, and meaningful takeaways. The energy in the rooms made learning not just valuable—but truly enjoyable.

Great discussions, shared experiences, and plenty of laughter made for an afternoon that reminded us why we do what we do. Together, we’re strengthening our clubs, growing our reach, and increasing our impact.

What an incredible day of breakout sessions!

From exploring life balance within Rotary to tackling real-world challenges, every room was filled with energy, ideas, and meaningful conversation. We shared strategies on building strong boards and teams, and learned how to run meetings that are not just effective—but engaging and impactful.

We also took a deep dive into the tools that power our clubs—My Rotary, Rotary Learning Center, Rotary Club Central, ClubRunner, and the Service Project Center—discovering new ways to stay organized, measure impact, and grow stronger together.

A common thread throughout the day: servant leadership. Leading with purpose, listening first, and lifting others up is what truly drives change.

The excitement was real. The discussions were rich. The inspiration? Absolutely contagious.

From District 6000, we celebrate this exciting opportunity to come together in a place that reflects our shared values of inclusivity, progress, and Service Above Self. This change highlights Rotary’s ability to adapt thoughtfully in an evolving world.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Dubai and Rotary leaders in the UAE for their leadership and flexibility, and to our partners in Barcelona for their enthusiastic support in hosting this global event.

We’re grateful to our members and partners in Barcelona for their enthusiasm in hosting our annual convention, which brings together people from around the world.

At the same time, we thank Dubai, our original 2027 host city, and Rotary members and leaders in the UAE for their commitment. We look forward to working with them on a future Rotary convention.
