Day 2 of the Red Rock Threshers Tractor Ride didn't quite go as planned but still turned out great!! About 15 minutes before we were supposed to have our meeting the weather sirens went off. Big thank you to Southeast Polk for keeping us all safe and providing shelter!! We ended up delaying for about an hour to let the rains move through. Southeast Polk had more than enough room for us to have our driver's meeting inside. A highlight of the morning meeting was the Titan Tire drawing. Thank you to Titan Tire for donating the tires and to Shawn Chubb from Titan helping out with the drawing!! Once the rain let up, we headed out and got to have morning break in Vandalia. Thank you to the Vandalia Church of Christ for hosting us and for more goodies!! Since it had dried out enough with the hour delay, we stuck to our original route and got to go through the Neal Smith Wildlife Refuge where some of the groups were able to see bison and elk. From there, we headed to Prairie City and then to Colfax for lunch. Once again, thank you Colfax-Mingo High School and FFA for hosting us and feeding us lunch!! We headed north out of Colfax and went through Valeria and then on back to Southeast Polk for loading up and heading home. Thank you to all of the drivers and support people who joined us on this year's ride!! Looking forward to 2026!!

We had a lot of fun on the Red Rock Threshers Tractor Ride July 18-19!! Thank you to Southeast Polk High School for hosting us and letting us use such nice facilities with lots of room!! Here are some pictures from the 1st day. We had our meeting outside the school in the morning and then got to drive through Runnels. Thank you to Prairie City Church of the Brethren for hosting our morning break and all the delicious goodies!! From there we drove through Monroe and Reasnor and on to Newton where we had lunch. Thank you Community Heights Alliance Church for hosting us and Prime Country for feeding us amazing brisket!! We headed north out of Newton and got to drive through Ira and past Mingo and ended up in Colfax for afternoon break. Thank you Colfax-Mingo High School and FFA for hosting us and feeding us!! Then it was back to Southeast Polk for some rest and getting ready for the next day.

Due to the rain, we will not be going through Neal Smith Preserve this morning. We will go to Vandalia for break, come back to F70, go east & then turn north on S6G to Prairie City & then our regular route to Colfax.
