Ms. Shamika Jenkins of the Houston Food Bank and Volunteer Driver, Larry Musick paused at the new produce at the brand new Sprouts store at 1001 West Bay Area Blvd. The Grand Opening is Friday, May 29th. This site is a new provider of food to Christian Helping Hands starting next Monday.

If you’ve wanted to help serve those in need, have a pickup or SUV, and have a few hours one or more mornings a week YOU ARE NEEDED!!!

The majority of food that comes in to our pantry comes from Houston Food Bank Retail Partners (AKA grocery stores). We have drivers that pick up from about 15 stores once to multiple times a week

We are in dire need of volunteer drivers! Please, please, please!

To be clear, this is not a paid role-not an employee. We do reimburse for mileage once a month

If this is something you would like to try, message us with your contact info and our Driver Coordinator will call you

Thank you to Kathy, Cindi, Noah and the Monday crew for coming in to the pantry on a holiday to stock our shelves so we’re ready to go tomorrow morning!
