Come out tomorrow, Saturday May 23rd, at Pearland Barkway from 2pm to close. 1853 Pearland Pkwy ste 105.

Rescue fam, we're looking for fosters for these 2 sad pups who wandered onto Pearland Canine Resource Center. The vet staff was gracious enough to neuter and spay, give vaccines.
Pierre is the male Pyrenees mix and Leni is the female shepherd mix. They are both good with people and other dogs. If you want to foster one please reach out in DM or email [email protected].

🚨 Elka Update 🚨

You may not be able to tell in these photos but her hair has grown back a lot and her skin is still slowly clearing up. This is our rescue's first severe mange case, and we're learning just how long it takes to get mange completely healed. She had allergy tests done and we've switched her to a limited diet based on the test results.

She has been so good throughout this whole process. 🐶 She's learning to trust again and meeting lots of new faces. Needless to say she still has a long way to go, and will eventually get spayed once the vet clears her for surgery.

😻 Say hi to Hobo!

This sweet boy wandered into a garage and the homeowner (who has dogs and cats) couldn't put him out, especially in the cold. He's since had his first round of shots and is scheduled for his next round and neuter in a few weeks.

Welcome Moose to the rescue! 👋

This handsome boy is a stray who got lucky enough to be found by a young couple who loves animals. He's a pit mix about 2 years old, just got shots and neutered. He tested positive for heartworms so he'll start that treatment soon. For now he's setting in to being off the streets and out of the cold.

🚨 Elka needs a foster🚨
Update on this sweet girl, we're looking for a new foster for Elka. She is on new meds now for her skin and it seems to be doing a better job. She'll go in for spay in January. But her current foster can't keep her so we're looking for another foster home.

She was isolated and neglected for so long, she doesn't know how to share "resources" around other dogs. From food, to toys, to humans. She was never allowed to feel safe enough to learn sharing, and potential fosters will need some patience and understanding and strict rules for separate feeding, toys, etc.
