Meals on Wheels does so much more than deliver a meal. They provide nutritious food, a friendly face, and a quick wellness check for homebound seniors, helping them remain safe and independent in their own homes.

It was a simple reminder that even a few minutes of your time can brighten someone’s day. I love that YMSL gives moms and sons the opportunity to serve together and invest in our community in such meaningful ways.

Grateful for the chance to give back to our Pearland community and for the conversations and memories made along the way. Serving others is truly one of the greatest gifts. 🥰

There’s something really meaningful about watching a child light up when they get to pick out a book and take it home as their very own. 📚

Books Between Kids is doing such good work here in Houston, helping build home libraries for students who may not have access to books outside of school. When kids have books at home, it changes the way they learn, dream, and see what’s possible.

If you’re ever looking for a local way to give back that impacts children right here in our community, this is a great one. Donate books, host a small drive, or volunteer a little time.

It’s a reminder that sometimes the smallest things, like a book on a shelf, can make the biggest difference in a child’s life.

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads who lead, serve, and show up for their families every day.

One of the greatest gifts of YMSL is the opportunity for mothers and sons to serve together, but none of it would be possible without the support, encouragement, and example set by our dads.

Thank you for the countless rides, volunteer hours, words of wisdom, and unwavering love you pour into your families. Today we celebrate the fathers who teach integrity, model servant leadership, and inspire the next generation.

❤️🤝 Serving Our Community at one of our new philanthropies, Christian Helping Hands 🤝❤️

YMSL Pearland moms and sons had the privilege of serving at Christian Helping Hands, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing food, clothing, and emergency assistance to individuals and families in need throughout the Pearland area.

Fighting hunger since 1984, Christian Helping Hands works to meet the immediate needs of our neighbors while offering hope, dignity, and support during difficult times. Christian Helping Hands services over 200 families a week, over 36,000 people a year and their impact is made possible through the service of an all volunteer staff and community partners who come together to care for those facing hardship.

Our members assisted with a variety of tasks to from sorting and stocking food, to preparing items for distribution, every task played a small part in making a big difference. It was a meaningful reminder that even a few hours of service can make a difference in the lives of others. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations that strengthen our community and demonstrate the power of kindness and service.

Thank you to Christian Helping Hands for allowing us to be part of their mission, and thank you to our YMSL Pearland moms and young men who continue to lead through service.

Making a difference one box at a time! 💙

Our YMSL volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work at the Houston Food Bank, helping sort and pack food for families in need. Their hard work, teamwork, and servant hearts are making a real impact in our community.

We are so proud of these young men and moms for choosing to spend their time serving others. Every hour volunteered helps bring hope and nourishment to those who need it most.

🇺🇸❤️ YMSL Pearland had the privilege of welcoming home Honor Flight #36!

We were honored to celebrate and thank an incredible group of veterans, including those who served during the Vietnam War, Korean War, Cold War, and one remarkable WWII veteran who recently celebrated his 100th birthday. 🎉

These heroes traveled to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifice. It was a privilege for our members and moms to welcome them home and show our gratitude for all they have done for our country.

Thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and service. Welcome home, heroes! 🇺🇸✈️⭐
