AYLUS has experienced remarkable growth and hosts hundreds of events yearly! The Pearland branch of the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS), located in the southern Greater Houston area, was founded in 2015 by three high school students. On July 4th 2026, more than 60 volunteers gathered at Independence Park to support Pearland’s July 4 celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of American Independence. Volunteers were primarily assigned to the inflatable bounce house area, where they helped maintain order, monitored safety, and assisted families as children enjoyed the attractions.
