The Selah Wellness Group and Resource Center Tuesday Motivational Moment: Girl, Stop Waiting For Others To Clean Up Your Mess. Sometimes You Have To Clean Up Your Own Mess
A True Experience With A Little Bit of Humor:This actually happened today!
Welcome, everyone, to today's Motivational Moment here at the Selah Wellness Group and Resource Center! I'm thrilled to be here with you all, and I'm excited to share a message that I believe will truly inspire and empower you.
Today, I want to talk to you about something that I experienced today and I think we've all experienced at one time or another: the tendency to wait for others to clean up our messes. Whether it's a mess we've made in our personal lives, our professional lives, or our emotional lives, it can be all too easy to fall into the trap of expecting someone else to come along and fix things for us.
But here's the thing: girl, it's time to stop waiting for others to clean up your mess. Sometimes, you have to do it yourself.
Now, I know that might sound a little harsh, but hear me out. When we rely on others to clean up our messes, we're essentially giving away our power. We're saying that we're not capable of handling our own problems, that we're not strong enough to face our challenges head-on.
But the truth is, we are capable. We are strong. And we are worthy of taking control of our own lives.
So how do we start? It's simple: we take action. We roll up our sleeves, we get to work, and we start cleaning up our own messes.
Now, I'm not saying that we can't or shouldn't ask for help when we need it. Of course, we should! We're not meant to go through life alone, and there's no shame in reaching out to others for support and guidance.
But at the end of the day, the responsibility for cleaning up our own messes lies with us. We're the ones who created them, and we're the ones who have the power to fix them.
So, my dear friends, I challenge you to take a good, hard look at your life and identify any messes that you've been waiting for someone else to clean up. And then, I challenge you to take action. To start cleaning up those messes, one step at a time.
Because when we take ownership of our own lives, when we refuse to wait for others to come to our rescue, we become empowered. We become stronger, more resilient, and more capable than we ever thought possible.
And that, my friends, is a beautiful thing.
So let's get out there and start cleaning up our own messes. Because we are worthy, we are capable, and we are ready to take charge of our lives.
Thank you, and have a wonderful day, everyone.
Selah!
