It’s happening.

Today, 54,000 pairs of brand new reading glasses left our warehouse in Peachtree City and are on their way to Operation Mobilization, headed to Africa and Asia.

Three weeks ago we didn’t know how we were going to pull this off. Today the truck pulled away.

Volunteers from Evergreen Church, One Church, and friends of God’s Eyes gave hundreds of hours over the past few weeks to make this shipment possible. They sorted, stickered, packed, and prayed. And today it moved.

We don’t know the names of the 54,000 people whose lives are about to change. But Father does.

Pray for the stories. Because they are coming. And if the last twenty years are any indication, they will be full of miracles.

To everyone who gave their time, their money, and their prayers to make this happen, thank you. You will hear what God does with these glasses.

We are almost to our goal of getting 54,000 pairs of eyeglasses out into the world. Tomorrow Saturday October 3 we have one last need for VOLUNTEERS to help us get ready for this shipment. We are looking for anyone to help us out from 9:30-12:30 tomorrow! We have 20 more boxes to go! We are figuring out the MIRACLE story 1 step at a time. Does anyone we know, know anyone who may have: Fiberboard V-board pallet edge protectors, approximately 2-inch by 2-inch, 56 to 60 inches long. Heavy-duty if available, approximately .160 to .225 gauge??? SEND to everyone locally to Peachtree City/Fayetteville? DM/Comment!

Our partners in the Philippines just finished a run of clinics on the island of Negros using SightSaver Kits supplied by God's Eyes. Don Salvador Benedicto. La Castellana. Hinigaran. Valladolid at New Life in Jesus church.

This is what the SightSaver Kit was built to do. A suitcase of glasses sorted by prescription, labeled and ready to go, carried by a trained team into a community that would otherwise have no access to vision care. No optometrist. No optical shop. Just a table, a kit, and people who know how to put the right pair of glasses on the right person.

God's Eyes does not have to be in the room for God's Eyes to work. That is twenty years of training, relationship building, and systems development showing up in four communities on the other side of the world.

Right now we are packing 100,000 pairs of glasses in Peachtree City to send around the world the same way. If you want to be part of that, we need volunteers September 21 through October 1.

We need YOU! This is the biggest packing effort in God's Eyes history.

100,000 pairs of glasses are arriving at our warehouse in Peachtree City, and every single one needs to be inventoried, sorted, stickered, and repacked before they ship to Africa and Asia in the first week of October.

We need local hands from September 21 through October 1. No experience necessary. Just show up and help us move glasses around the world.

Alright God's Eyes Family! PRAYER CALL! We are currently awaiting a decision that would allow us to help alot more people around the world, and need our PRAYER WARRIORS to call it to be!
