Friends of Fayette County Animal Shelter We are an excited and eager nonprofit volunteer group dedicated to promoting and supporting the Fayette County Animal Shelter.

Friends of Fayette County Animal Shelter, Inc. (FFCAS) was founded in order to provide a way to fundraise for the Fayette County Animal Shelter. Since the shelter is a county funded organization, it has limited resources. This organization is a great way for people to donate to the shelter and receive a tax write-off in return. FFCAS was founded by local Fayette County residents who have a passion

for progressive change and love of helping the homeless animals at the Fayette County Animal Shelter.

💕 Meet Annie 💕

This sweet girl arrived at the shelter with five other dogs, including two sisters who have already found their forever homes. Now it’s Annie’s turn. 🐾

At just 6–8 months old and 22 pounds, Annie is the perfect size for couch cuddles—and trust me, cuddling is her absolute favorite thing in the world.

Annie is a little timid at first. New places, new people, and new experiences can be scary for her. We aren’t even sure she knew much human affection before arriving at the shelter. But once she realizes she’s safe, her sweet personality shines.

✨ Cat friendly
✨ Great with other dogs (she’s doing wonderfully with three dogs in her foster home!)
✨ Loves older kids and cuddling beside them
✨ Crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night
✨ No accidents in her foster home so far
✨ Walks nicely on a leash, though she’s still gaining confidence
✨ Loves her Lamb Chop toy
✨ Has the cutest little prance you’ve ever seen—seriously, it’s impossible not to smile watching her.

Annie is eager to please and learning every day.
Some family is going to be very, very lucky.

🎀🐾 MACY HAS TWO SETTINGS: ZOOMIES & SNUGGLES

Meet Macy. She is 6 months old, which means she wakes up every morning and chooses curiousity… the adorable kind. 😆

This sweet girl came to the shelter with another dog who has already been adopted, and now she’s wondering:

“Um… excuse me? Where is MY family?!”

Macy is full of energy, loves to play with other dogs. She’s working on her training, which mostly consists of remembering that not everyone wants kisses directly up their nose. 💋😂

She believes:
🐾 Every stick is a treasure.
🐾 Every lap is her lap.
🐾 Every toy should be squeaked at maximum volume.
🐾 Every human she meets is her new best friend.

Being six months old is serious business. There are adventures to go on, squirrels to supervise, and naps to take in awkward positions.

Meet Arnold. He came into the shelter with several other dogs, and honestly, we’re not sure how much love he’s had in his life.

He’s 4 years old, 45 pounds, and such a sweet boy. He doesn’t demand attention. He quietly sits waiting for his next walk at the shelter.

You can tell he wants to trust people. He just needs someone patient enough to show him that he’s safe and loved. A calm home where he can take things at his own pace would mean everything to him.

At 4 years old, 70 lbs and a gorgeous brown and white fur coat. Bryce may just be the dog you’ve been searching for. His recent sleepover gave us a glimpse of who he truly is outside the shelter—and wow, did he impress everyone.
