In 2025-26, Phi Mu Foundation awarded $268,500 in leadership and educational grants for various programs to empower our sisters.

When Mary DuPont Lines, Mary Myrick Daniel and Martha Hardaway Redding founded the Philomathean Society at Wesleyan College, they could never have imagined that what began as a small literary club would grow into 175 years of sisterhood. Generation after generation, Phi Mu women have been intentional about providing for the sisters who would follow them. We are here today because women before us believed this sisterhood was worth carrying forward.

Yesterday, our staff celebrated Phi Mu National Philanthropy Day by giving back to their communities! From baking cookies for families at Ronald McDonald House in Savannah to sorting fabric to keep textiles out of landfills, our team found meaningful ways to make a difference.

As Phi Mu celebrates 175 years, we're proud to contribute our volunteer hours to the 175,000 Service Hours Challenge as we celebrate this milestone anniversary through service.

Meet Foundation Scholar, Brianna Lenard (Louisiana Tech). "The Phi Mu Foundation scholarship has helped shape my future by providing financial support during a pivotal point in my academic journey. After spending two years pursuing Civil Engineering, I realized that nursing was my true calling and made the decision to change majors. While this choice allowed me to pursue a career I am passionate about, it also extended my graduation timeline and increased my educational expenses."
