Meet Gregg Mcgough, another Featured Creative for this year’s Arts Alive Gala! Gregg is a local photographer who is “on a journey to capture the human spirit.” His work tells bold stories about the subjects he photographs, using color and shadow to bring his vision to life. We are so excited to have you on board this year, Gregg!

Meet Featured Creative Mike Sluder! Mike was formally trained in sculpture under internationally recognized artists at East Carolina University, where he earned his B.F A. in 2006. He has worked at two leading fine art bronze foundries, overseeing the Metal Shop and serving as Patina Specialist. Mike has also had work featured in the Museum of Design Atlanta, in addition to national and international exhibits. He is best known for his bronze vessels and copper wall hangings, both noted for uniting inspired vision with enduring materials.

We cannot wait to see Mike’s art in person this Saturday at the Arts Alive Gala! Thank you for sharing your talent with us 🌹

Meet Jeanette Steen- artist name Lena E’Liz- one of our Featured Creatives for this year’s Arts Alive Gala! She has an education degree with a major in History and a minor in Art Education, and spent most of her career in education. Recently, Jeanette retired and shifted full time to her artwork. She is a watercolor artist, and at the Gala, she will be displaying some pieces from her recent collection, “Moments,” whose subjects reveal significant moments of Jeanette’s life.

Those who attended our last Arts Alive Gala in 2020 will remember our Arts Alive Gala Orchestra! Led by Patti Gouvas, the Arts Alive Gala Orchestra will set the mood for the evening with an incredible selection of classical and contemporary songs fitting our theme, “La Vie en Rose.” Starting at 6 pm, enjoy a drink during cocktail hour, take in the visual art displays, and hear the Arts Alive Gala Orchestra!
