We had an absolutely incredible meeting today at the Rotary Club of Peachtree City!

First, we are thrilled to announce that our club officially donated a brand-new golf cart to the Peachtree City Police Department! We love supporting our local first responders and helping them keep our unique golf cart paths safe.

We were also incredibly honored to host Chris Clark, President of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, as our guest speaker today. Thank you, Chris, for sharing your invaluable insights into Georgia's economic future!

What a fantastic Thursday lunch meeting!

First, a massive thank you to Will Turpin, bassist and co-founder of Collective Soul, for taking the time to speak to our club today! It’s not every day we get rock-and-roll royalty in the room to share their story and insights. President Chavdar Zdravkov presented Will with a small token of our appreciation for an unforgettable presentation.

We also had the absolute privilege of growing our Rotary family today. Please join us in giving a massive congratulations and a warm welcome to Vanessa Moore, our newest Rotarian! We are so excited to see the impact you’ll make in our community!

Rotarians, it’s that time of year again! We are bringing the Rotary spirit to the 4th of July Parade, and we need your help to make our float the best one yet. This is a wonderful opportunity to get your family involved, celebrate America, support our community, and create lasting memories!

Here is how you can get involved:

The Float Decorating Party
When: July 3rd | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

The Vibe: Fun, festive, and collaborative!

Perks: Dinner and drinks are provided for all volunteers!

Parade Day!
When: July 4th | 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (ish)

Perks: Kickstart your morning with free breakfast before we hit the route!

We Are Looking For:
Walkers (15–20+ needed): All ages are welcome! Come walk the 2-mile course, wave to the community, and spread some Rotary cheer.

Spotters (6 needed): Must be at least 16 years old and able to walk the 2-mile course to help keep our float and crowd safe.

Decorators: Bring your creativity and helping hands to our July 3rd prep party.

Rotary Family & Friends: The more, the merrier! Bring your spouses, kids, grandkids, and neighbors.

Let’s show our community what Rotary is all about.

What another incredible weekly meeting today at the Rotary Club of Peachtree City!

We were honored to host Georgia State Representative Josh Bonner, who gave an insightful and deep-dive presentation on the inner workings of the Georgia state budget. Understanding how our state manages its resources is vital for our community, and we are so grateful for his time, expertise, and dedication to public service.

President Chavdar Zdravkov extended a huge thank you to Representative Josh Bonner For State House on behalf of the entire club for keeping us informed and engaged.

Today’s weekly meeting was absolutely electric as President Chavdar Zdravkov officially welcomed and honored the incredible award winners of the Peachtree City Rotary Club Grand Prix Series!

A massive shoutout to George Martin, who did a fantastic job emcee-ing the event, announcing the results, and handing out the hardware with his signature energy and style.

We are so proud of everyone who laced up their sneakers, hit the paths, and supported our community through this series. Your dedication, grit, and sportsmanship embody the true spirit of "Service Above Self."

We’re proud to see our local Rotary Community Corps being highlighted by Rotary International!

Our Rotary Community Corps is especially meaningful because it is made up of individuals with special needs who are actively serving and making a difference in our community. Through fellowship, service projects, and leadership opportunities, these incredible members embody the true spirit of Rotary’s motto: Service Above Self.

The RCC program creates opportunities for community members to become involved in service, build friendships, develop confidence, and demonstrate that everyone has unique gifts and abilities to contribute. Their passion, enthusiasm, and heart for service continue to inspire all of us.

We had a fantastic turnout for today's weekly Rotary meeting!

Our President, Chavdar Zdravkov, thanks Mayor Kim Learnard who introduced today's guest speaker, Eric Brown from Peachtree City’s own ALTA Refrigeration. Eric shared the fascinating history of his company's growth, and opened up about his direct correspondence with Congressman Brian Jack and Vice President JD Vance concerning crucial government policies affecting the industry.

It was a powerful reminder of how local business leadership connects directly to national advocacy. Thank you, Eric, for an insightful and inspiring presentation!
