Currently serving a strict sentence of crate arrest, Linda was recently photographed during a supervised visit with foster family. Although her sentence was extended, she's scheduled to be released this Thursday evening!
Linda had surgery last Monday to remove a mammary mass and was also spayed while under anesthesia. The veterinary team reported that everything went well. Tuesday morning we found Linda lying in a large puddle of blood and rushed her back to the vet for an emergency recheck.
Thankfully, the veterinary team found that her incision and sutures were still intact. The bleeding was likely caused by movement that stretched the sensitive surgical area and how she was sleeping on the area. To help prevent further complications, they applied a pressure bandage around her abdomen, which remained in place for two days.
Following the recheck, Linda was sentenced to an additional 7 days of crate arrest to ensure proper healing. She truly has been a model inmate—keeping her spirits high and never losing her smile.
