🎉 THE WAIT IS OVER — IT'S OFFICIALLY RACE DAY! 🎉

We are excited to announce that the Healthy Kids Running Series (HKRS) Parrish Fall Season officially kicks off TODAY, Sunday, October 18th, at 3:30 PM!

After last weekend's rainout and wet field conditions, we are ready to get our young runners back on the course for an exciting season of fitness, fun, and friendly competition!

🏃 RACE DAY DETAILS:

📅 Date: TODAY — Sunday, October 18th

⏰ Time: 3:30 PM

📍 Location: Tom Bennett Park, Bradenton

💪 Warm-Up: Led by GYMGUYZ Suncoast

📦 IMPORTANT: RACE PACKET PICKUP

If you haven't picked up your child's race packet yet, no worries! You can pick it up before today's race.

However, please plan to arrive early to avoid long lines and allow plenty of time to collect your packet, get settled, and have your child ready for the 3:30 PM start.

Only 3 days until the official start of our Fall Season. And the good news is there is still time to register for the full season. All full season registrations get the official HKRS T-shirt, along with a finisher's medal and a race packet with lots of goodies from our many sponsors.

If you haven't registered your kids yet, today is the perfect day so they are ready for Sunday afternoon. You can pick up your child's race shirt and packet before the race on Sunday.

🚨 **IMPORTANT RACE UPDATE – TOMORROW'S RACE CANCELED!** 🚨

🌧️ Unfortunately, due to excessively wet field conditions at Tom Bennett Park, we have made the difficult decision to **CANCEL tomorrow's (Sunday, October 11th) Healthy Kids Running Series race.**

The safety of our young runners is always our #1 priority, and the fields are simply too wet to safely host our event.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ **BUT HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS!** 🎉

**We are NOT losing a week of racing!** We're simply pushing our entire Fall season back one week!

📅 **UPDATED FALL RACE SCHEDULE:**

🏅 Week 1: Sunday, October 18th
🏅 Week 2: Sunday, October 25th
🏅 Week 3: Sunday, November 1st
🏅 Week 4: Sunday, November 8th
🏅 Week 5: Sunday, November 15th
