Meet the Rector of your next Happening! Maddie is a senior from Punta Gorda, and this is her fourth time serving on Team.
• What’s your favorite part about Happening? “My favorite part of the weekend is watching everyone grow closer to themselves and God in just two days!”
• What are you most looking forward to next weekend? “I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and making so many memories!!”

Worship, new friendships, a lock-in, lunch with the Bishop, AND making Church history? 🙌 This year’s Diocesan Youth Gathering was one for the books! We also watched our first-ever Youth Delegation in action, including an open debate on youth seat, voice, and vote at Convention. And guess what? It passed with 95% support! 🎉 Young people belong at the table, and we’re excited to see what’s next!

Best. Teams. Ever! Our combined team overnight was packed with laughter, bonding, discernment, and training as we prepare for two incredible retreats for the middle schoolers and high schoolers of SWFL. While we accomplished a number of logistical tasks for both weekends, the biggest accomplishment was in leadership development and team bonding! Our lay directors feel energized and encouraged not only for this fall season, but for many seasons to come!
