On behalf of the All-Ukrainian Union of Churches of Evangelical Christian Baptists, the Pastoral Development Committee, and hundreds of ministers across Ukraine, we sincerely thank you for your sacrificial support and participation in organizing the July 20–25 retreat for pastors and their wives. This retreat was a special blessing to many ministers who continue serving in the midst of war, constant stress, and tremendous emotional burdens.

These days of rest, spiritual renewal, fellowship, and prayer helped pastors and their families grow stronger spiritually, regain their strength, and receive fresh encouragement for continued service to the Lord. Many shared that this time was an answer to their prayers and an important touch from God in the midst of very difficult circumstances.

We especially appreciate your willingness to stand alongside the churches of Ukraine during this challenging period in our history. Your support is not merely material assistance; it is also a powerful testimony of the unity of the Body of Christ, love, and brotherly care.

May the Lord richly bless you and all the ministers of Hope International Ministries. We pray that He will renew your strength, grant you spiritual joy, peace, and abundant resources for continued service to Him. We look forward to continued and fruitful partnership!

Project overview:
📌 A total of 120 people participated in 2026 retreat —pastors, their wives, and children. Over five days, they had an opportunity to rest, recover, and spend meaningful time together.

During the seminars, participants discussed pastoral resilience, restoration, hope in God, and how difficult circumstances can become a means of spiritual formation.

My 11th trip to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war has come to an end.

This time, our team of six from the United States had the privilege of serving at a retreat for pastors and their families. More than 120 participants from frontline regions were able to spend five days in a peaceful, beautiful, and safe resort in the heart of Ukraine.

Just imagine—five days without air raid sirens, explosions, or shelling. For many of them, it was the first opportunity in a long time to truly rest. These days became a time of renewal, healing, prayer, fellowship, and experiencing God’s peace.

Throughout the retreat, we heard countless testimonies of God’s faithfulness. Even in the midst of the horrors of war, the Lord continues to work. Churches continue to serve their communities, the Gospel is being proclaimed, and many people are accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who prayed, gave generously, and helped make this retreat possible. Your support became a tremendous blessing to these pastors and their families, who faithfully continue serving in extremely difficult and dangerous circumstances.

Please continue to pray for peace in Ukraine. Pray for God’s protection, strength, and encouragement for our brothers and sisters who remain faithful to their calling and continue to shine the light of Christ in places where darkness seems overwhelming.
