From the first candid car ride into the countryside to the final moments with the pastors and communities we serve, this team brought joy, humility, and genuine love to every room they walked into.

This is the mission of LoveServes International. We walk alongside pastors. We coach and equip local churches. We believe that when a pastor is strengthened, the church is empowered and when the church is empowered, communities are transformed.

Español con Jayar is officially in session. 📚🇩🇴

In today's lesson: un carro, una puerta, un niño, un perro... and one very important correction from a local pastor that Jayar will not soon forget. The pastor was gracious about it. 😄

Look, not all of us arrive on the mission field fluent. Some of us point at doors and dogs and hope for the best. And honestly? That's okay. Because one of the most beautiful things about the body of Christ is that it crosses every language barrier. The Gospel doesn't require perfect Spanish, it just requires a willing heart.

And that's exactly what LoveServes has seen again and again in the Dominican Republic. Pastors and churches faithfully carrying the message of Jesus Christ into their communities (in Spanish, in Creole, in whatever language their neighbors speak) and seeing lives genuinely transformed.

We're so grateful to be on the ground here alongside The Jayar Show on The JOY FM, walking with those pastors and witnessing what God is doing. Even if our Spanish still needs a little work. 😂

Mission trips are an adventure. Sometimes a hilarious one. 😂🇩🇴

Jayar is headed into the countryside of the Dominican Republic to meet with some incredible pastors and he’s taking you along for the ride. Literally.

Between figuring out how to ask questions in Spanish and the retelling of a legendary story involving chicken wings, cargo pants, hungry dogs, and a late night ER visit that had the entire emergency room in stitches... this crew is off to quite a start. 🍗🐕😬

But here's the thing, the adventure is always part of the story. The bumpy roads, the language barriers, the unexpected moments... they're all woven into the fabric of what it means to go. To leave the comfortable and familiar and say YES to being used by God in someone else's backyard.

Because at the end of that road? There are pastors. Churches. Communities. People who are hungry, not just for food, but for the hope that only the Gospel of Jesus Christ can bring. And THAT is why we go.

LoveServes has been walking alongside those pastors and churches in the DR for years, equipping them to make disciples who make disciples. We're so grateful to have The Jayar Show on The JOY FM along on this journey. Adventures, dog stories, and all.

We join in congratulating Pastor Dave Falconer on 30 years of faithful service to God’s calling on his life. LoveServes is grateful to partner with Pastor Dave and Jamaica Link Ministries to work with pastors in Jamaica to help activate healthy churches that will impact their communities for Christ.

Today we celebrate a very special milestone within the Jamaica Link Ministries family.

Uprising City Church, an arm of Jamaica Link Ministries, is celebrating 13 years of ministry. Over the years, the church has remained committed to sharing the Gospel, serving the community, and impacting lives through faith, fellowship, and service.

On this occasion, we also take time to recognize and congratulate Pastor Dave for over 30 years of faithful service in Christian ministry. His dedication to God’s work, leadership, and commitment to nurturing and guiding others has touched many lives and continues to strengthen the ministry.

We give God thanks for the journey so far and pray for continued growth, strength, and impact in the years ahead.
