Global Serve International GSI - Partnering with churches to plant mature churches in unreached language groups Read more about our history: http://globalserveint.org/history-and-impact/

We are committed to the work of the Great Commission in the most challenging regions, no matter the cost, through cross-cultural church planting, making disciples, and the translation of God’s Word among people groups who currently have no access to the Gospel. We believe the church is God’s primary instrument of redemption in the world and has the leading role in His global story. We partner with churches locally and globally, united with one passion—to extend God’s glory among the nations. Global Serve is working today with the same pioneering spirit that first started our ministry in the early 1990’s. “And thus I aspired to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, so that I would not build on another man’s foundation.” (Romans 15:20). We work in places where there are no churches, no Bibles, and no resources for people to hear about Jesus. God is opening doors that have been closed for centuries through our global workers using social business, medical and professional skills to gain long-term access to unreached people. For the first time, people are hearing and reading about Jesus in their own heart language. Churches among the unreached are being established because God has raised up men and women willing to learn the heart language, persevere in difficult contexts, translate the scriptures and carefully disciple new church es. The vision of Global Serve International is to establish indigenous churches and equip them so they may continue to fulfill the Great Commission, beyond their borders, in new unreached people groups.

Enjoy His grace! Extend His glory!

Some of our staff was privileged to spend last week in training with one our key partners at Engage Global.

If your church desires to be strategic in engaging the Unsaved in our communities and the Unreached around the world, we highly recommend taking your team to Engage Global.

First lesson complete, and it went better than expected.

We had great discussion while reading through Scripture, especially around the truth that humanity was made in the image of God. That was new to my friend. The next lesson will highlight the massive nature of the fall.

Looking forwarding to continuing the conversation later this week.

It’s been quiet here for a while, but the work has not stopped.

Churches are sending. Workers are learning language and culture. Teams are building relationships. And the long-term work of bringing the gospel to places where access remains limited continues.

Over the coming weeks, we’d like to bring you back into that work.

We’re still here. And there is much to share.

What if the Great Commission is more than a command to “go”?

Read a sending pastor’s perspective on how defining the Great Commission shapes the church’s mission, the sending of workers, and the proclamation of the gospel among all nations.

Defining the Great Commission helps us understand the task and whose responsibility it is to accomplish it.

“Who’s responsible for what?” It’s a simple question—but one that exposes real gaps in how we live out the Great Commission. The answer isn’t found in organizations or individuals alone. Scripture shows that the local church holds the central place in God’s redemptive plan.
