⚽❤️ A BIG NIGHT FOR MUTINY SOCCER! 🖤⚽

Tonight, North Manatee Mutiny proudly kicked off our very first TOPSoccer session, welcoming 20 incredible athletes and their volunteer buddies to the fields!

TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a program through US Youth Soccer that creates opportunities for athletes with intellectual, emotional, and physical disabilities to experience the joy of soccer in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Tonight was about so much more than learning the game. It was about building friendships, growing confidence, celebrating abilities, and making sure EVERY athlete has a place on the field. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing buddies, volunteers, and families who helped make our first night so special! And a special shout out to Coach David Grae Kastor for bringing this program to our community!

We are just getting started, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the fields on October 25!

❤️🖤 MORE THAN JUST A GAME! ⚽
Our Mutiny U15 Girls and Coach David Quintero continue their undefeated streak with a hard-fought 3–2 victory over Winter Haven, bringing their league record to an impressive 4–0! 🔥👏
But today, the biggest win wasn't on the scoreboard.
Following the match, both teams came together for a photo and a powerful reminder that soccer is about so much more than wins and losses.
In light of the recent tragic school bus accident in Winter Haven, these young athletes showed that while they may be competitors on the field, they stand together as a soccer community in moments that matter most.
We are incredibly proud of our girls for their performance, but even prouder of the sportsmanship, compassion, and respect shown by both teams.
Our hearts remain with the Winter Haven community and all those affected by this tragedy. ❤️🖤

⚽ There’s no place like home! ❤️

Our Mutiny U18/19 boys are sitting at the top of the N1 West Premier 2 North bracket with a 3–0–0 record as of October 5! 👏

For many of these boys, this season is a homecoming. They started their soccer journeys in our recreational program. Some have worn the Mutiny jersey ever since; others have played elsewhere along the way and returned to finish their high school club soccer careers right where it all began.

From those first rec games to competing together today, it’s been a privilege to watch them grow as players, teammates, and young men. Seeing them back home, representing this club and making new memories together, makes this season especially meaningful.

⚽ Meet the Directors: Ward Rosen
Next up in our Meet the Directors series is Ward Rosen, Director of Player Development!
Ward has been part of the Mutiny family since 2020 and brings a lifelong love of the game, including experience playing at the collegiate level. Today, his passion is helping our youngest players build strong fundamentals, confidence, and—most importantly—a love for soccer.
As Director of Player Development, Ward leads our Mutiny Rise program, helping create a positive pathway for young players as they take their next steps in the game. He also coaches our U9 Boys and U13 Girls First Teams this season.
For Ward, player development is about more than soccer skills. It’s about creating an environment where kids feel encouraged and valued—and building a club culture where players and families feel like they belong.

CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Congratulations to our U11 Girls Red on an outstanding weekend at the Extreme Cup!

Not only did they bring home the championship, they did it WITHOUT ALLOWING A SINGLE GOAL THE ENTIRE WEEKEND! 🚫⚽️

That’s a full-team accomplishment — great defending, great goalkeeping, hard work all over the field, and a group that showed up ready to compete.

What a weekend for our U10 Girls!

These girls stepped up to an incredible challenge, competing in the boys division at the Extreme Cup and battling their way to a 2nd place finish! 💪⚽️

We’re so proud of the confidence, toughness, and competitive spirit they showed all weekend. Taking on that level of competition and coming home as finalists is something to celebrate!

Meet Grae Kastor, Mutiny’s Girls Director!
Grae began coaching at just 17 years old and has experience working with players ranging from 2 to 18 years old, giving her a unique perspective on every stage of player development. She also brings experience as a competitive youth and collegiate player.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies and Community Leadership and a specialization in Childhood Development, Grae combines her soccer experience with an understanding of how young athletes learn, grow, and thrive.
As Girls Director and a Head Coach, Grae is passionate about mentoring young athletes and creating an environment where players are supported, challenged, and encouraged to become confident players and people.

⚽ Meet the Directors: Gabriel Mazo

Meet Gabriel Mazo, Mutiny’s Boys Director of Coaching!
Gabriel brings more than 15 years of coaching and player development experience to Mutiny and holds a U.S. Soccer Federation “B” National License.
His experience spans both club and high school soccer, including Director of Coaching positions and coaching at the ECNL-R, NPL, FYSA/WFPL, and FHSAA levels.
As our Boys Director of Coaching, Gabriel focuses on developing the complete player—from technical and tactical growth to discipline, character, leadership, and preparing athletes for opportunities at higher levels of the game.
Gabriel also serves as the U12 Boys Red Head Coach and Boys Varsity Head Coach at Parrish Community High School.

❤️🖤 We’re excited to have Gabriel leading and supporting our boys program!
