• 23% of high school students reported drinking alcohol in the past 30 days.
• Alcohol contributes to about 4,000 deaths each year among people under 21 in the U.S.

🌴 Choose your crew wisely
Hang with friends who respect your choices and support healthy fun.

📱 Have an exit plan
Always have a trusted adult or safe ride contact ready.

🏐 Stay active
Sports, beach days, volunteering, gaming nights, and creative projects keep summer exciting without alcohol.

🗣️ Practice saying no
A simple “I’m good” or “Not my thing” works.

💧 Protect your future
Teen brains are still developing. Alcohol can affect memory, judgment, and decision-making.

❌ Myth: "Everyone else is happier and doing better than me."
✅ Fact: Social media is a highlight reel — not real life.

What you see:
📸 Vacations, good hair days, perfect outfits, big wins.
What you don’t see:
😞 Stress, anxiety, bad days, arguments, insecurity.

💬 Reminder: No one’s life is perfect, even if it looks that way online.
You’re not behind. You’re not alone. And you’re doing better than you think. 💙
